Beer Slangs
Homebrew uses beer analogy as a MAC package manager. Beer is also a staple for social gatherings with the data science field. It has become an essential element of society. Over the years it has evolved with a diverse set of regional slangs as well as the variety of flavors from around the world. Even an ontology can be produced for the consumable term for beer in form of a concept or thing as well as a product with a set of ingredients, categories, and tastes. In process, helping people to explore and produce a recommendation graph to associate to their evolving tastes, merry meet ups, and as a choice for food accompaniment.

London Shopping Centres
Shopping in UK is not comparable to quality and the vast expanse of malls in US. Department stores are also relatively unmatched apart from Harrods, Selfridges, and John Lewis. Not only is shopping in UK far more expensive than US but there is also less variety as well as competition for bargains. But, things are slowly changing in UK especially for London where there is plenty of options and this is because the major city and capital gets such a huge influx of tourists year round. Although, not exhaustive, the following list includes some popular shopping arcades in London as well as a link to a few popular areas around UK. There is also a link to a lonely planet guide to shopping in London.

Halloween
Halloween is a very pointless event of the year. A day when people celebrate the dead, the darkness, and all things evil. A day when children are taught to beg door to door for treats and learn the humble truths of trick or treating. It is a time when people dress up in all sorts of ways to scare others or possibly to bewitch others with their closeted dark secrets. Also, the only time when pumpkins are adorn and in high demand. Partying is also remarkably a scene of experience altogether and a welcomed excuse for retailers and party goers alike.

Reubens
Reubens is another salf beef joint in London. But, not much of a match with Selfridges in either service or taste. What Selfridge's Brass Rail provides is relatively better service, more choice, better taste, but also the advantage of being able to complete one's shopping. Apparently, for whatever reason, at many Jewish establishments the service is completely lacking. The service staff are often either half asleep, slow in preparing, or just not very attentive to customers. Even the menus look stingy as if one really had to think of something to fill up the paper while only really having few selections on offer. Moreover, even the food is over priced for the lack of quality. There is also the question of hygiene for many such Jewish restaurants making the notion of kosher almost laughable. Especially, their handling of meat in front of customers whilst serving. Beyond the rather religiously sickening green and brown interior one can almost wonder how much aluminium is being used up by the cooks behind the counter. The almost gloomy looking staff and the emptiness feel is possibly why one would prefer takeaway or run as far away and never look back.

The Blemished Game of Football
A sad truth lies in how much footballers get paid and the way they seem to get away with crime. Another truth lies in the way the women seem to stand by them. One can almost wonder as to how much women value money and the way moral and ethical values are pervaded by their gold digging ways to cloud their judgement. Will they stick by their man if he were to be disqualified and no longer earning a huge salary? We also find how hypocritical people can be when they are not the victim of a crime. However, when the tables are turned the very same people will no longer be so supportive of such criminal behavior. Football is no longer a professional sport but rather a fool hardy affair where ticket prices are out of control, where players are over paid and reflect little on their performance on and off the pitch, and where spectators display little sense in their behavior both during and after the games. Does a footballer really need to be paid more than a doctor? Is the value of entertainment more than someone working to save lives on a daily basis? Football players make little to no contribution to society with a very limited life to spend on the pitch. This is not to say that all footballers lead a questionable existence. But the professional game does appear to falter at the hinges of ever increasing imperfections and flawed in displaced societal values.

Glastonbury
This year the lineup is quite fresh and varied with significantly new performers on stage. There is also a varied group of people at Glastonbury this year. Certainly there is an air of expectation and excitement. Perhaps, even the odd bit of muddy escapism has struck at the minds of many over the unpredictable weather. However, the weather does not appear to be effecting the mood of either the performers or the people. Many new performers will be looking to showcase their talents during the festival. There will also be many young individuals looking to strike up love interests at such events while many camp the nights in their tents. Glastonbury festivals have always drawn a very hippy sort of crowd. But, this year it was slightly more open and mixed. Perhaps, this is a reflection of the multiculturalism and globalization in effect that brings so many to such festivals in shared music interests. However, the commencement of the festival around the same time as the World Cup has not given it much sway as many will still be watching the games from their available screens. There are also Arcadia monsters on display performing for a live audience. These are fire breathing, recycled scraps of monsters, like the Spider, that provide for a massive infusion of flaming explosion, sculpture, architecture, and an ephemeral adrenaline with the music. There is even a Mechanical Playground with Hand-of-Man, Paka, Spitfire Forge, Itchy Gorilla, and Bug Stage. With a huge line-up of performers and a welcome mix of monster scrap, there was/is much party to be had over the few days, on the grounds, for an experience to remember. The event lasts between June 25-29 and is therefore coming to an eventual close.

Hello Beautiful
The Selfridges campaign of 'Hello Beautiful' comes across a bit devilish in the way it mirrors and resembles the symbolic representations of the illuminati. Perhaps, just an oversight in representation. But, if one notices the words and symbols it almost sounds like it is stating 'Hell Beautiful' with the all seeing eye symbol, illuminated to the right, which is really meant to be an 'o'. Or, maybe it is just meant to imply that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Air Pollution
We have wind power, solar power, water purifiers, and even dehumidifiers. We even have air purifiers that we can buy for home and office. And, yet we are not able to build air purifier solutions for large scale. As South East of England suffers high levels of smog it is necessary to run air purifiers over cities to reduce the pollution and treat the many contaminants in the air. Perhaps, people can learn from the carbon and nitrogen cycle in an aquarium as a model example. We often have solutions for agriculture in form of crop dusting, why not use something like that to neutralize the pollutants in the air. A lot of times, it requires an agent to activate and speed up the chemical process of reduction. Even aquariums have it resolved by reducing ammonia levels in tanks by using filtration chemicals to speed up the nitrification process. Even plants are a natural source of filtration. In similar respects, the air could be filtered out through a cyclic process. Even furnaces fuel an excessive amount of pollutants into the air and so does road traffic. Perhaps, it is time to start installing smarter filters and renewable energy sources. Maybe, this might even push for more action and interest for electric powered vehicles.

Employment Contracts
One might say these days that employers are trying to provide an open collegial environment for work. But, invariably as a business it is often employer vs employee. One needs to be cautious with employment contracts and fully informed with a sense of awareness of the contractual agreements. It is also best to get an employment contract overlooked by a trusty employment lawyer in case there are any clauses that need re-wording or clarification. As once the contract is signed any number of things could go wrong later. One also needs to be fully aware of their employee rights and the best ways to approach any conflicting matters that might arise. Acas is one such organization that provides advice and guidance on UK employment disputes but also a range of information on their website. Other options include: Citizens Advice, Gov.uk, CIPD, EmpLaw, Personnel Today, Employment Rights, EU Law and many others.

The Return Of The Poop
The below video link illustrates the way councils waste resources on poop management. And, not only that, over enforce and often in the most exaggerated ways. It also illustrates the way some individuals display their sense of disregard for the law by not only assuming they are above it but also to be showing a sense of bigoted disrespect towards the enforcing officer. What is also funny is that the woman in question here also appears to be backed up by another questionable person behind the camera. I wonder what the individual means about getting a 'proper police officer'. The video is not only hilarious but it certainly also displays the total lack of sanity shown between both parties.
